When the Covid-19 Pandemic sent the world into turmoil in early 2020, the EU and the EBRD acted quickly and switched to remote project assessment and project verification processes, ensuring that the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line could continue supporting SMEs in Azerbaijan in their investments and receiving grants. 

At the same time, SMEs in Azerbaijan had to adapt to the COVID-19 restrictions and introduce measures designed to protect employees and clients alike.

Here we show some stories of projects that were verified under COVID-19 restrictions and tell the stories these SMEs and their path through the pandemic.
